All programs offered at Stamford Museum & Nature Center may be modified for those with special needs, please call ahead for arrangements.

Accommodations

  • Wheels in Woods - a mobility-friendly outdoor trail that is designed for those not otherwise able to hike through nature.

  • Mobility-friendly A.D.A. compliant access to the Bendel Mansion event spaces and galleries, with direct access though double doors from reserved parking.

  • The Farmhouse - Mobility-friendly access to classroom and event spaces, accessed through A.D.A. compliant parking and plaza.

Events and Programs

By calling ahead, groups with guests with special needs may arrange for private gallery viewings. Wheels In the Woods trails are open year-round to all, without a need to call ahead.
