Accommodations

The Connecticut Audubon Society’s Center at Fairfield Center adjoins the 155-acre Roy and Margot Larsen Wildlife Sanctuary, a nature preserve serving as an extensive outdoor classroom for school, summer camp, scouting, and adult education and conservation programs. Seven miles of walking trails, raised boardwalks and bridges offer access to the varied land, forest and freshwater ecosystems. The one-mile Chiboucas Special Use Trail accommodates wheelchairs and strollers. The grounds also feature a butterfly garden and Birds of Prey compound. The Center building houses accessible classrooms, live education animals and exhibits.

Events and Programs

The Center at Fairfield offers a variety of adult, youth and family programs throughout the year.
